I agree.

You think they would get the basics right ie hands on the face

I owned a GMT rep that was wayyy better quality than any other Gen watch I've owned in the under $500 range.

Gee...you mean my $300 watch won't be exactly the same as the $7,000 version. That's disappointing. I have to run over to my safe place with my comfort animal now.

I'm new and very happy to be here.

I always wondered if high quality replicas existed and if there was a reliable way to buy one. I've bought cheap fakes that break before the day ends.

But thanks to this forum and this sharing community I have made my first high quality rep and it has more than exceeded my expectations. Not to mention wiring money to a random person is always unnerving. But thanks to everyones feedback here I was able to do so with full confidence I wasn't being scammed.

I just want to thank everyone here who has contributed and I hope to contribute my own experiences too, so some AP Royal Oak SS photos and review coming your way soon.

YOU SHOULD EXPECT THIS! It depends on what you choose, based on the research you have done on the forums. d8ebbc56ac0919d38e7d2fa641026dac.jpg

If you can't live with the small mistakes reps are not for you. Investigate the QC's from the dealers for abnormalities that aren't supposed to be there, but it's still a rep  so some flaws should be expected.

With that being said, some off my reps have given me so much join exual if not more then some gen pieces

I'm new too reps and honestly the quality of the watches I've bought recently have blew my mind, almost as much as to say I wont bother with gens as long as I have a good quality rep.

As someone who owns a real rolex, my expectations are already set regarding quality differences, so this is a great post and understanding there will be some flaws is essential before you outlay the dollars.

Good Morning Guys,

So am new to this whole Rep game, but have done some reading prior to posting in here.    But I have seen that there a  few watches that have garnered a slid reputation for being very High Quality Reps, namely a Thomas Cadell (TC build), and a Noob V6s 3135.  SO my question is a sort of checklist of what to ask a TD when buying a Rep to get as close to these legendary reps as possible

  • Should one ask a TD to brush or redo the SEL?
  • Replace Xtal with a genuine or very high quality after market  XTAL
  • Install a Genuine DW
  • And insist upon a a 3135 movt or Swiss ETA 2836
  • Grease the watch?

I can't think of anything else of the top of my head but these are the ones that stick out to me and please senior members, Reps, TD's or Mods please chime in with opinion.

Thanks,

Dazzz
