flyr 4 Posted February 21, 2013 Got this just before Toros Christmas sale( bummer). Comfy on the rep rubber, but I have tried it on a couple of other options. An alligator embossed leather from BandRbands and a Heavy bracelet from bandfever. It weighs about the same on the bracelet as my V2 Proplof on mesh! Well here it is. Buddhabar 4,539 Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Great choice ... great watch. Very nice combination with the steel bracelet. This is mine with the rubber strap. Edited February 27, 2013 by Buddhabar
Higs 73 Posted February 27, 2013 I can't quite see from the pics but is that bracelet stamped 'Bell&Ross'? I have a similar brushed steel 26mm bracelet that I bought for a PAM187. I hadn't even considered putting it on my BR02. Might give it a spin out at the weekend if I feel strong enough.

cooper0329 0 Posted March 17, 2013 just picked up the same watch from Toro....how is holding up for you?
flyr 4 Posted March 19, 2013 just picked up the same watch from Toro....how is holding up for you? No problems, but I wear it in rotation with a bunch of others so it has not seen a lot of use.
ernest74 0 Posted March 19, 2013 got mine more than a month ago....same watch from Toro....been wearing it since...very satisfied! only issue is that it can get a bit temperamental when using the crown to adjust the date...it slips sometimes, found out that it's better to rotate the hours to change the date... just picked up the same watch from Toro....how is holding up for you? No problems, but I wear it in rotation with a bunch of others so it has not seen a lot of use.
masmannan 0 Posted March 19, 2013 I picked up my BR02 off Toro a couple of weeks back. Its doing real good. Been wearing it as a daily beater.

butchyg73 0 Posted April 13, 2013 (edited) <=== soon to be member of the BR02 owners club....does your rubber band have gaps on the back side of either side of the lugs? I have placed an order with MR for a BR02 since Toro was all sold out. The qc pics look great but I have noticed these gaps. This is not a deal breaker for me, just wondering if all reps were like that....or maybe I am imagining this.. http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p676/butchyg73z/9_zps4d1c345a.jpg Edited April 13, 2013 by butchyg73
masmannan 0 Posted April 13, 2013 The BR's aren't very popular, so there's prolly just 1 factory making these. So, whether its Toro or MR. It's prolly the same Rep. Saying that, makes no sense for Toro saying its unavailable. Anyway, it's a quality rep, and it's been sent off for Servicing. Nothing wrong, just had a good offer on the servicing. I regards to gaps, found nothing strange with my Rep. Masmannan
butchyg73 0 Posted April 13, 2013 did you find servicing locally or online?
diplosa 0 Posted April 13, 2013 It is an awesome watch - congrats on getting one. Mine says hello:
butchyg73 0 Posted April 13, 2013 thanks... yes it is an awesome watch.... super rep as well.... I've been licking my chops for a week now watching the tracking... it's been in NY customs for 3 days now and I'm getting very anxious... i thought 911 was over
butchyg73 0 Posted April 13, 2013 has anyone had to retighten the screws on the face or adjust them in anyway?
flyr 4 Posted April 13, 2013 It's a good idea to go over all exterior screws in any watch you receive, just don't reef on them (over-torque).

Besides, it wouldn't worry so much about the back. It's the front of the watch that people will mainly see. Congrats on joining the club!
butchyg73 0 Posted April 14, 2013 Yes, I was thinking that too, but I did buy a gen strap and would like to compare the 2 once they arrive. I don't think the gen is stepped like the rep.
OG. 0 Posted April 18, 2013 I so want one of these. Already have the BR01-93 GMT but apparently the BR02 is no longer available. I might try MR see if he can get them. Pity as I like to deal with Josh,
