scope 3 Posted March 27, 2010 I started out last month trying to find a replacement band for my 1968 Datejust. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. After sifting through all of the bogus forums online I finally found this one. It has been a wonderful help in purchasing my first rep. I decided after much thought to purchase the DSSD ULTIMATE from Mary at Watch International. Mary came highly recommended and I have to say I could not have picked anyone better. To prove my point I actually received a thank you e-mail from her after letting her know that the watch arrived. Their is not much I can say about this watch that has not been covered in the many great reviews on this forum. If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these all I can say is this is one bad ass watch! I have never been a huge Rolex fan but the size and thickness of this one won me over. Although its not quite as thick as the original dive watches! This version has a few flaws but thanks to this forum I have the ability to do a few simple mods and have one super replica. Mary even gave me the replacement bezel without even asking. The lume is short lived as with other reps but very impressive and I love the blue color! Even the etching at 6:00 seems pretty spot on. I could not be happier with this watch and would like to thank everyone at RWG for this terrible new addiction that has come over me faster than the common cold. scope 3 Posted March 31, 2010 I would suggest Mary at Watch International. She does a great job and will send you pics of the actual watch before shipping. Robert seems to have a good looking budget friendly dssd as well. I tend to stick with stainless so I don't have to worry about the finish coming off. 17 wrist DMISGOD.
