Randy C 0 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) Hi guys. I've been lurking around here for quite some time now. So thought since i got my new watch from Andrew @ TT, i'd post some pictures up! Comments welcome Edited March 2, 2013 by Randy C
1littlegreen 1 Posted March 2, 2013 Looks nice. These are popular because they are just so cleanly designed. Wear it well
Higs 73 Posted March 2, 2013 Nice pics. Why did you chose this one over the Noob version? (I am undecided)
1littlegreen 1 Posted March 2, 2013 Toro has a review on this as a side by side. The differences are subtle as in miniscule font differences and such. The biggest difference I could see would be the price.

Yeah, I've seen it. In some ways I wish I hadn't. Something like the font colour (bright white vs. off white) would never have occurred to me if I didn't know about it. edit: price is a big factor though. Hazz 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Nice pics. Why did you chose this one over the Noob version? (I am undecided) I am of the same dilema, N or H ??????????
Higs 73 Posted March 2, 2013 Nice pics. Why did you chose this one over the Noob version? (I am undecided) I am of the same dilema, N or H ?????????? Pig or no pig??????????? Sometimes I like the simplicity of the plain dial. Sometimes - like when I see pics like the 2nd one above - I really want the pig.

Gotta admit Hazz, they are both pretty good and damn close. You know you want one, go grab it.
Randy C 0 Posted March 2, 2013 yes price is definitely a factor for me. The difference is just negligible. plus i heard the H has a steel crown? IDK but i somehow just feel ceramic crown will tend to break easily for such a small piece like the crown

R5tdi 0 Posted March 2, 2013 I had the same dilemma in the end I went for N from Rochest but to be honest both are great options I just got to be patient on my delivery now I just preferred the additional detail on crown case dia and face color etc but the no pig was not option due to the Panerai logo alignment as its a big tell from what I read on the reviews in rwi But would not be disappointed with either yours looks great wear it well
Randy C 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Thanks now im just worried that i'd scratch the pvd off. heard its pretty thin layer? any experience with this ?
gtwc 1 Posted March 2, 2013 Thanks now im just worried that i'd scratch the pvd off. heard its pretty thin layer? any experience with this ? Firstly - great buy, gorgeous watch. I want to upgrade mine (muuuuuch older version). Secondly - the caseset is ceramic, not PVD. Scratching should not be an issue at all - h'ever ceramic is very brittle and can crack or chip (but not scratch!) fairly easily, so treat her with kindness. Enjoy one of the nicest PAMs around (IMHO).

JohnPilot 1 Posted March 2, 2013 Cool PAM, must get this one day. Lume seems great too.
schwimmi 0 Posted March 2, 2013 A really pretty timepiece-definetly on my whishlist .. nice to read that many others have the same Problem - the H or the M ..
Indywatchguy 0 Posted May 23, 2013 Actually ceramic watches our the best! Super hard surface not much chance of scratch or chipping.
machiavegli 6 Posted May 23, 2013 I've got the noob and love it. I know lume is near impossible to judge but I think the lume on yours looks better than mine DID... before Chris at 10:10 did an unbelievable nuclear relume for me. BTW, Higs these photos of your H-factory are absolutely beautiful. I love the strap you picked too. One of the most flexible dress-up or dress-down watches out there. -Mach
Vbmrk 0 Posted May 23, 2013 I love looking at pics of this watch, it looks so nice. But I bought one a few months ago and, I dunno, it just doesn't strike me on the wrist the way it did in pics. Ended up giving it to my nephew as a gift. Having said that, how long before I order another one? Wear it well, mate! Glad to see you're enjoying it so much you posted some pics of it!
