Uddind 0 Posted March 5, 2013 I have a ceramic submariner rolex, I've had it for two weeks now and some how the brushed metal is fading away on the clasp area ( the area when opening bracelet) it's turning shiny metal.. I've used the green side of the sponge and recreated the brushed finished which works perfect but doesn't last that long... Does this happen to genuine subs as well? Frankt8242 1 Posted March 5, 2013 Just keep that "ScotchBrite" pad handy.......The stainless steel used in many replica applications is a good deal softer than the stuff Rolex uses, and loses its finish quickly with wear...
