blueradish 130 Posted March 6, 2013 Played around with another Sub last weekend. Blasted this one, sterilized the bezel, darkened the indices. Enjoy.

dvdphile 6 Posted March 6, 2013 It's definitely different but it's not a Panerai! :help3:
fellowsis 1 Posted March 6, 2013 Why is this in panerai review section?! Unique take on the sub... I kinda like it actually!
PeterPotamus 2 Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) that turns out to be quite nice, kind of "titanium like" sub, very cool edit: I'm not so sure about the steri insert btw Edited March 6, 2013 by peterpotamus
simonbolivar 1 Posted March 7, 2013 A+ for creativity, but I am a purist when it comes to Rolex. Not working for me.

BaggyPants 0 Posted March 7, 2013 Looks plastic and cheap to me. Sorry :(
frogflyer 6 Posted March 7, 2013 Different... Looks like it took some time!
James. 4 Posted March 7, 2013 I like it but I think it'd look better with a faded insert rather than the sterile blasted one. Love the dial and case combo, very phantom!
blueradish 130 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) PM sent to move to Rolex, complete brain lapse. Looks plastic and cheap to me. Sorry :( Freshly blasted it does look a bit cheap. As the finish darkens and patina's it will transform Edited March 7, 2013 by blueradish
BaggyPants 0 Posted March 7, 2013 I'll take your word for it At the minute, it looks like it's been sprayed with a light gunmetal metallic matt paint. As you say, maybe as it takes on some age to match the dial, it will look better. I think that's what looks wrong at the minute. Aged dial, with brand new looking case and bezel. Once they merge together, it'll probably look quite good.

Crusader 0 Posted March 7, 2013 Only thing left to do it dip the date disc in coffe or tea to darken it. Nice work
