I think it's a 3510.50 reduced speedmaster , goes for around 1500 or less on ebay. No idea on production.

I think that '68 is manual wind, this in the pic is an auto, maybe the 3510.50.00 is the one?

Looks like a reduced to me. Less desirable than the Pro

The Pro is the 'original Moonwatch' and the Reduced.... well... Isn't!

Many people dislike the subdial placement and busier face on the Reduced.

I'm in the market to buy gen at the moment, still undecided which.

Btw, I've been offered a gen Reduced for £850 a few days ago, Pro tend to be around twice that. Not sure if that helps too.

I just found this, I got interested, that's why I was asking about.

But it comes with a nice price tag, I'm in the process to get it...

Now you put some ice on my plans LOL

The Reduced is still a fine watch, just understand the differences :)

I think I might hold out for the Pro

For me it depends on price, if I saw a nice Reduced at a good price I'd probably go for it, but secretly I'd want the Pro.

Not sure if that saves you cash, but maybe you'll buy once, rather than twice ;)

I found this reduced in pristine condition for the equivalent of USD 1,500.00, I think it's a very reasonable price

Keep this in mind. The reduced speedy has almost the exact same dial spacing as the rep moonie! The word automatic is about the only difference. Just saying.

Secs are @9 on the rep and its 21,600 bhp rather than 28,800 bhp in the gen.

isn't the gen speedy pro 21600? I always thought so. I know the auto (reduced speedy) is 28800
