Man.... Just buy one.... Nah, 3777 for me. I had the Laureus Spitfire and the dial colour was great but prefer the size of the 3777. Now I have the Le Petit Prince 3777 and that is sweet too. Just about to order an Orloff blue croc for it.
tonyh7 294 Posted June 16, 2015 Anyone have the petit prince chrono? Really like the look of that. Seen it in blue from a few TDs and in white on the site that dare not speak it's name. I like it partly cause I'm kind of attached to the book and admire the author. Wonder what kind of watch he really wore? Soon to be a movie I believe too. kennycoder 97 Posted June 16, 2015 3714 with proper dial. Give it a try. True super rep even despite possible issues with secs@6 movements.

Tichymeloun 0 Posted June 16, 2015 3714 with proper dial. Give it a try. True super rep even despite possible issues with secs@6 movements. +1. One of the very best I agree with you guys!! Although I am the one who posted the pic of Laureus Spitfire, my favourite is 3714 with white dial and blue numerals. Can not paste mine,as it is at the moment with Domi, gettig gen dial, gen movement, colourless double sided AR and modded case. btw, it seems, that there is going to be a new 3714 rep on the market soon: http://www.watchbus.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2556&highlight=iwc the dial is the best rep dial I have seen so far, as the numerals do not have the sharp edges, but soft ones like the gen. Daywatch 4 Posted June 16, 2015 For the beauty of it, I just love the slim, simple, reliable handwound 6497 IWC Portuguese Fa. Jones, there is another version with an onion-crown for purists (but not available or rare I think) One of the other beauties imo is the 2008 Cousteau Diver, only thing is the lume could be better and I´d like to be able to simply change it to any strap instead of the IWC special size. Running strong with native seconds at 9 from the A7750 and bright colours to break the black monotony a little bit. Great Summerwatch:)

Tichymeloun 0 Posted June 17, 2015 Damn! I have nearly all of these watches. I've got the IWC bug so bad! If you have that only with IWC watches, than it's ok:-). Would be nice to see a collection of all your IWCs at once, why don't you post it here?

Not that many people know, that they used the straight No. four until 2004:-) Edited June 17, 2015 by Tichymeloun
JSJ 0 Posted June 17, 2015 Yes, the "shape of the four" story is another old wives' tale, full of mis-information.
paulvillo 364 Posted June 18, 2015 Quite happy with the BP. Came in with wrong purplish double AR crystal, but still looks amazing.
