I have access to some 3D designers, a 3D Printer and some machining capability. I know that watch movements can be purchased, as can most other watch components. How feasible would it be to design my own watch case and throw a movement in? Can you point me to the resource that would indicate the folly of such an idea? Search on here for RWG Watch and you'll see it's been done already, albeit not quite complete as of yet and in a more traditional way (no 3d printing used that I know of) You would have to also spend time researching movements, dial and hands installation etc but that'd all be part of the fun!
