replicastuff 0 Posted March 16, 2013 OK so I received my green sub from reg which will post pics later on, decided to have a watch count, looks like lurking on this forum I have built up a mixture of watches and have 22 in total! I've got to keep tabs on this and maybe work on a 1 in and 1 out system otherwise I'm going to go broke. So how many watches do you have? Sorry if I get picarded on this poll, but all for fun. Cheers.

dalboy 2 Posted March 16, 2013 Some will say that you can never have too many.. I disagree, for me a few really good reps are the way to go rather than 30 or so mediocre ones..though i confess to once having a collection of 40 odd. Dal..

Given time you will probably end up with around 10 or so top class reps....but you will buy everything in sight before that happens.. Dal..
arancini 0 Posted March 16, 2013 For me personally, it's about quality, not quantity, I only have three Reps. One inbound. One sent for Mods. One on my wrist. IMO, It's all about good AR and lume. Also prefer Super Reps or close to it. Find that way, they'll likely stay in my collection a lot longer.
Xebryus 0 Posted March 16, 2013 When you go homeless I'd say stop. But seriously, to me the fun is having a collection in your dreams you've never thought you could own. So maybe for you it could be 3 watches and you're content, and to the next person, they want everything under the sun. Personally I want to have a 30 watch collection all higher quality, but I'm 24, I have plenty of time to get there
SSTEEL 0 Posted March 16, 2013 I have three at the moment in house. A Breitling WindRider which I got several years ago, an LV Sub also from my last time in the rep game, and a TT Sub with black dial. I also have a Tag en-route, due on Monday bringing my total to four. I have a watch box on its way too which holds up to 10 watches. Now the question although I'm not quite upto ten watches, but when I am, is it a case of pruning my collection, or buying another 10 watch watch box? :P

masmannan 0 Posted March 16, 2013 Being a Noob and having got stuck by CNY, Ive been fortunate to research and research more due to the holidays. So, far I have 2 Rollies, Bell&Ross and Hublot. This got me thinking. There are so many M2M sales, where a Buyer upon receipt of thh Rep, puts it up for Sale. Understandably, lots of reasons why this happens. But, I guess a certain percentage just pull the trigger to quickly, only to regret it and sell it on, losing 20% of its value instantly. I've made 2 rash decsions thus far and really hope not to repeat these again. My hope is to limit myself to 5-6 very good quality Reps of differing brands with differing looks to suit my environment (dining, pub, office, shopping, gym etc).
