kabuto 0 Posted April 6, 2010 I just want to say hi to you all and hope a get alone with most of the members ;-) Regarding watches I’m actually a complete noob so I seeking some (a lot) of advice starting my luxury :-p replica watches. I live in Europe (Belgium) so when importing, customs will be a real pain in the ass. I already checked your trusted dealers list. I’m still crawling the net and stores to see which watches I want to buy to start the collection. Here’s already a list of watches of my likings: Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Gyrotourbillon Rolex Datejust Audemars Piguet AP IWC BIG PILOT Astbury skeleton Chronoswiss Regulateur Breitling SOH UN Maxi Marine Diver PAM 113 Chronoswiss Tora A.Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Patek Philippe Nautilu Swiss Legend Throttle Diamonds Sea-gull m222s Omega Speedmaster Professional Patek Philippe Grand Complication Hermes Autoquartz Nomade Compass Any thoughts or other recommendations are welcome. greg_r 83 Posted April 6, 2010 Welcome to RWG. Some of the watches you list will never be repped (JLC Gyrotourby being one of them), so beware of any sites that say they can get them! Stick to the Trusted Dealers and you won't go far wrong - let us know if there's anything you need to know!

greg_r 83 Posted April 6, 2010 Hello! Welcome! Narikaa is an EU based dealer.......save you some poetential customs issues. +1 Good point - yes, Narikaa should be your first port of call given that you're in Belgium. You shouldn't have any customs issues there as he ships from the UK.

kabuto 0 Posted April 6, 2010 @greg r: I will let you know if I'm ready for the T-shirt I checked the dealers' list and Narikaas website. The pictures and watches do look great of course and if the elders recommend them .... what can I say more What worried me was the information concerning Narikaas stock: "Carries varying stock of lower-end..." What do you mean exactly by lower end (or is this question already answered in the newbie section so I will do a search on it)? If I buy a replica, I want a "luxury" replica But like said, I think this is a good place to start my experience Thanks

Sometimes the lower end rep might just have a movement that is a cheaper version of the more expensive replica, but the replica itself looks and feels the same as the more expensive one, i.e., better movement (swiss). But, I agree it doesn't hurt to hear from the dealer him/herself.

KBH 7 Posted April 6, 2010 I think that it's more that because he goes on buying trips and brings home pretty large volumes, that he doesn't carry many of the ultra expensive reps such as AP, Hublot, high end Pams, etc. It doesn't mean that the quality of his reps are bad. And he has more of the Asian movements rather than the Swiss Eta kind. They are all hand picked and quality controlled by him though. Nothing to worry about there.
