ALE7575 24 Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) Some days ago Kuvarslt has announced the release of a new generation of Luminor PAM replicas with a completely NEW CASE and like gen CRYSTAL. From Kuvarsit: http://s25.photobuck...025830638247978 From HONT: http://www.replica-w...411-138211.html The pics show a replica watch with awesome quality and finish. Maybe one of the best ever seen if not the best one. PENDING FUTURE EVALUATIONS WITH THE SAMPLES IN PERSON YOU CAN SEE BELOW MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND AN ANLYSIS OF THE DIMENSIONS AND LAYOUT OF THE DIAL, INSCRIPTIONS, PIG LOGO AND ENGRAVINGS. CASE AND CASEBACK: - Very Good finish and polished. Well defined edges - Nice lugs and lug screws. Better than other reps in general - Good bezel and finish - Nice caseback with good and nice engravings - The custom engraved of Boutiques is seemingly awesome. CG, CROWN, LEVER: - Awesome finish - As good as a Noob or even better in external and inner edges and finish - Good lever in shape and roller zone. Nice insertion to CG in axle zone - Improvable flush lever-CG - Crown with “slim” rim like H maker and gen DIAL (see final study below): - Seemingly accurate colour lume. Lume looks good but pics have 15 sec of exposure. - Accurate fonts and thickness on markers and inscriptions - Good general layout of markers, L SWISS MADE L and LUMINOR MARINA inscription. - PANERAI inscription accurate and well placed. - PIG logo very similar to H maker and better than Noob. Different to gen as H maker is. Well placed in position but with less inclination in comparison to the gen. HANDS and CP: - CP good enough, no better than best Noobs (but Noob is very variable) - Correct Pre-V TYPE hands. The head of minute hand seems smaller than gen one. CRYSTAL: - Following KW indications is like gen or gen, but there are no pics of the edge to judge. AR seems very good. MOVEMENT: - The same movement as in Noob replñicas. STRAP: - Nice strap and buckle with good engraving and finish And below the analysis of dial, inscriptions and PIG logo FINAL REVIEW OF DIMENSIONS AND DIAL LAYOUT PAM BOUTIQUES SPECIAL EDITION FROM KUVARSIT PENDING FINAL ANALYSIS FROM THE DIRECT INSPECTION OF THE SAMPLES I have already finish the study of dimensions and layout of the Kuvarsit dial and inscriptions. JoehwffcJ really was right, the real watch PAM Boutiques has different PANERAI and PIG position than some digital pics. Therefore the position of KW dial is correct. GENERAL VIEW OF DIAL KUVARSIT-GEN COMPARISON As you can see the layout of the dial is almost perfect. The marker fonts seem very accurate and the inscription fonts are good too. PANERAI INSCRIPTION-PIG LOGO- "6" MARKER - L SWISS MADE L INSCRIPTION As you can see in above pic the general positons in this zone of the dial is almost perfect. Only the 6 marker and stick markers @5&7 are placed a little bit high. But it is completely no noticeable. Therefore: Perfect positions in general. Concerning PIG logo there are some considerations and little flaws that we will analyze below. PIG LOGO AND PANERAI INSCRIPTION As above commented the positions of PIG LOGO and PANERAI inscription are almost perfect. PANERAI fonts and size are almost exact to the gen. Only the PIG logo has some flaws as follows: - Shape and embossed are very similar to the H maker version. A little far to the precision and details of the gen PIG. Some details, like in H maker version, are different as you can see in the pics. Noob version is inferior. - The KW PIG logo has the same size of the gen - The most important and more noticeable flaw is the inclination angle of the PIG. Because the gen has a more pronounced angle of inclination. You can see in above pic the different inclination angle between the KW PIG (in green) and the gen PIG (in orange) In above pic you can see the correct dimension of the KW PIG and the wrong inclination angle of this KW PIG in comparison with the gen. CONCLUSIONS PENDING A DIRECT INSPECTION OF THE SAMPLES TO SEE THE CORRECT FINISH AND GENERAL LOOK OF THE LUME APPLICATION AND COLOUR, LOOK OF THE EMBOSSED PIG LOGO, SURFACE TEXTURE OF THE DIAL AND QUALITY OF THE INSCRIPTIONS. We can say after this first analysis that the KW dial is really good and almost perfect in dimensions and layout, leaving aside a little difference in the inclination angle of the PIG logo and the usual difference of the shape and quality of embossing of this PIG logo. Most likely it is a way to get a new generation of Super replicas from Kuvarsit. With this new case we could see soon PAM 005-000-111-112-390 and even a promissing PAM 360 with the magnificent Kuvarsit dial. Looking forward to see the samples in order to get more info about the look and finish and qualities of the case and caseback. A really promissing release form Kuvarsit !! Congrats !! Tits McGee 7 Posted March 24, 2013 You are a very talented reviewer. Thanks for sharing. Must be very tedious work. You had me 3 hours ago on the near identical review you did on the Kuvarsit Pam Bo: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=47503 Do you do reviews for any other watch brands or are Pams your forte? I'd love to see your work on Omega & Breitling.

I'd love to see your work on Omega & Breitling. Many thanks McGee for your kind comments This is not actually the final Review, because we nave not yet the watch in person. I hope to receive from Kuvarsit the watch soon and we will finish the study. I could make any review of any watch in the same way, but I really am very busy, since I am the RWI PAM Moderator and I'm a little specializaed in PAM watches because I have no time for other brands. Thanks again ALE Edited March 24, 2013 by ALE7575

746_heuer 0 Posted March 24, 2013 From the point of view of a pamnoob like me who likes pams even if they are not 1:1, I don´t think the extra $ are worth it, we´ll see in some months.

From the point of view of someone who just spent his money on this watch, and from the point of view of someone who's owned quite a few Pams, I think it'll be worth every penny. Each person has his taste Many people buy cheap replicas and are happy Others, like myself, buy only the best possible without mods But, bear in mind that many people are spending some 800$ to get some mods their PAMS . ONLY LITTLE MODS !!! ALE
