First Rep, SOSF or Superocean 44?

Recommended Posts

Louie

I have been trying to decide between these two high quality Breitling reps for my first purchase. After getting some co-worker opinions I have narrowed it down to these two reps and color choices:

The SOSF (black face) V2 with Asian ETA

The Superocean 44 with Asian ETA (white)

I absolutely love the Steelfish with the white face, maybe more than the black face. But, everyone I ask always picks the black face for some reason. I bet in person though, anyone that saw the white faced version would say, "That's a beautiful watch" and not, "You should have gotten the black one", lol. Damn these reps are all so good looking, it makes you want a few of them, lol. The more I look at the Breitlings the more I think they are more spot on and seem like they are better made.

sosf v2 is one of the best reps out

but superocean 44 is nice too

you can get the sosf in 42 or 44

so see what you can handle on your wrist

both great

(but both not as nice as the seawolf v2 imo)

You are going to have too many watches with black faces in a couple months, you will be really glad that you have one watch that is :giggle:

You can't loose either.

Has anyone bought watches from Toro using paypal or Visa? I'm thinking about getting this watch but was leaning toward WI using western union.

This one has a long history. A very active prominent member passed it on to me. And one before him passed it on to him. This one is my "never sell" watch. When the time is right, it will be passed on again. I am but a caretaker of this in the meantime. If I remember right, it has passed 5 times.

Originally it was purchased from Robert....our gulag is named in his memory. Good read when you get the chance.

It was the best picture I found of the 44 and I really like the classy look of the white!

I really like the look of the cream colored dial with the brown leather strap. Wish I could get that watch now.

any reason why I shouldn't use PayPal? Obviously its the easiest, but is it the safest?
