this ap roo worth a shot? (quartz)

The thing I like, about the AP quartz models is, they don't have that stupid 24-hour subdial. I've been tempted by one of these myself. You take a loss on resale, though.

Don't know much about AP's but it looks pretty nice. It says the same as 7750 model but it looks a lot different than the 7750 case on Josh's site. Different pushers and mineral glass rather than sapphire for a couple of items.

I got a cheap quartz AP years ago and my wife acquired it from my watch box. She loves it.

Like your avatar though.

I had a cheapo quartz ROO that I bought from Lawrence. It was an excellent watch - I should have kept it. The one you picture looks reasonable, although it certainly doesn't look like the 7750 case to me (WE's descriptions can be rather iffy - one of the reasons they're not a recommended dealer here).

I got my AP ROO quartz (sold it long ago). I was very pleased with it. Sturdy watch. Looked great... (It even had stealth lume!)

If you'll check Lawrence's website as I suggested, you should find several quartz ROOs on leather....

Nope there's a few on leather straps in there too...

http://www.houseofsouvenirs.com/audemarspi...spiguet_018.htm as a sample...

There were quite a few more on there last time I looked - but maybe he's changed his listing recently, sorry...

Timesshop might be worth a look too.

If you can't find the version you want, however, it might be worth dropping an email to Mary at WatchInternational and ask her what's available - she might be able to supply you the leather strap as an extra...
