New oversized DD.

Recommended Posts

Luthier

Just came home from the short vacations this morning, and... VOILA! My new DD arrived at 1pm.

I ordered is exactly same day I left for Thailand, paid to my sweetheart Julia, who replaced Mary, by Western Union.

OK, first - this mofo is HUUUGE!!! It's only 41mm in diameter, but it looks very big, see wrist shot.

Quality is immaculate. I suspect ROLEX already make it's masterpieces in Guangzhou.

Rose Gold/Stainless steel, silver dial, Swiss ETA, damn heavy, and very beautiful watch.

I paid less than $200, including WU charges and EMS shipping.

Enjoy!!!

These are your photos, Lutheir? You've been holding out on us.

Very nice watch. A 41mm DD is next on my list.

Beautiful watch. I love the new 41mm sizing.

Question. Did I miss who your dealer is, or is it some supersecret thingy?

Let me know if the address is available. Thanx

Awesome Luthier! On my short list now, I need a dressier watch to wear with suits and it will do just fine.

quite nice mate, and good deal- beautiful pix too.

the non geeks would never know, but its a fantasy watch, no TT DD's. there was a 'three tone' with

white, rose and yellow i think.

I like TT. Full gold is too much, SS is too simple. TT is the best dress watch, IMHO.

And, no 3 tone DD, only platinum, Evergold and yellow gold.

I'm intending to pick one up myself fairly soon - still haven't quite decided on which version to go for, though...

Beautiful watch. I don't understand why you wouldn't get the same thing as a DateJust so it wouldn't be fantasy.

Really liking the size of that one. And very nice pictures.

Greg, I guess your choice would be SS, but all SS's with smooth bezel, and it's not a Rolex IMO, fluted bezel is Rolley's trademark.

So, maybe full gold, solver or black dial?

Yeah, I know - I prefer the fluted bezel too.... Only problem is that I dislike full gold (don't do TT often either) - just too ostentatious for my tastes. Decisions, decisions

I got a couple weeks before my 'contacts' head back out to China, so I guess I'll have to make up my mind soon

I'll ask, if they can make SS fluted bezel.

Now I understand! Only comes in the hugely expensive model.

Still love your watch.

I hope they'll make Dayjust oversized soon.

Damn, i's not oversized, it's medium size, compare to all 44mm-47mm watches.
