alvinado 0 Posted April 15, 2010 Order a Plat Mat last week and is very happy about it. It was supposed to be a plat mat, but I think it looks like a tantulum mat instead!! Which I like more!! What do guys think, should I mod the datewheel with Taka's to match it with the gen tantulum mat shown on the last picture?? Pictures GEN Tantulum Mat

dirtyred 0 Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) yes.. it is sort of like an eysore... with the white datewheel, taka is getting business from me!!! I am a newbie... I am considering buying a Mat Bang - seems like lots of dealers have them. I could use your help to determine which dealer is reliaible. A few questions about the Mat Bang: 1. What dealer did you buy from ? 2. What is the quality of the coating ? 3. Do you have pictures of the watch on your wrist ? 4. What is your overall satisfaction with the watch on a scale of 1 to 5 ? tdubt 0 Posted May 12, 2010 I got this bad boy from Robert and I couldn't be happier with it. It really looks fantastic in person and has the correct adjustments as Robert shows in the pics above.
OHMYGODITSAPANERAI 0 Posted May 30, 2010 But are they still using stickers on the rotors? I cant tell in any of the pics if they are engraved. The dealer pics I just looked at definitely show stickers.

From the pics, at least the last one, it looks like stickers. You can see that each letter is raised and rounded.
prestigewatchco 2 Posted August 9, 2010 Hehe always amazes me with Hublot buyers. They pay attention to the rotor not being engraved but advocate you buy the V1 at 3 times the price with wrong dial colour/ wrong date wheel colour/ wrong rotor bearing/wrong movement screws/ missing the fine adjustment regulator and thats not as important as having an engraved rotor which is difficult to tell is engraved. Am I missing something or are the other flaws on the V1 less important than the stickers on rotor?
