MartyNC 0 Posted April 13, 2013 Have seen the various postings about the ceramic Planet Oceans and I AM IN LOVE!!! My only issue is that I have a 7.25" wrist. Which should I order, the 42 or 45? Any advise and suggestions or wristy to support would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
NFleischer 4,355 Posted April 13, 2013 I'd say the 42mm is better, I have the 45mm and it's a bit too big and heavy IMO. . Your call- some people like the 45mm monsters.
jeffw69 0 Posted April 13, 2013 Hi Marty! I like my watches big, so I went with 45mm. Is there an Omega Boutique near you? Maybe try both on there. You could always order both and sell the one that is less comfortable.

DR3M3L 4 Posted April 13, 2013 I got a 7.6" wrist, 45mm looks much better! Try both at the AD
MartyNC 0 Posted April 13, 2013 Unfortunately, I live in BFE North Carolina. THe closest AD is perhaps 80 miles away. I miss when I was stationed in Wash DC, but now, I am without AD here in this po-dunk town. Thanks for the advise, and please keep it and the pics coming. MartyNC 0 Posted April 13, 2013 Any of you guys got 7.25" wrists with a pic. I have a hard time with visualization. I liked NFleischer's post, but didnt get a wrist size for scale.
NFleischer 4,355 Posted April 15, 2013 BTW- my wrist is about 71/8 inches. Here's a 42mm for comparion
MartyNC 0 Posted April 15, 2013 Looks like I will be getting another 42 when I get some funds. Due to the crystal caseback, I assume the watch is "thicker" than the old school Planet Oceans. Thanks for the pics for comparison. Boy, it seems like everyone wants the pumpkin style PO, but for the life of me, I cant see its practicality as a watch that compliments anything. No offense, but can this watch go with suits and dressy dress?
NFleischer 4,355 Posted April 16, 2013 Yes the Pumpkin is quite the versatile watch IMO. On the SS bracelet or rubber band- NOT the Orange rubber.
