Will the Nautilus and or aquanat (spelling?) fit on a 6inch wrist? Which one would you recommend? I have an ex2, 1665 and pam 111.

The nautilus comes on a steel bracelet which can be adjusted to fit a 6 inch wrist.

The aquanaut usually comes on a rubber strap... someone else will have to answer for that as I haven't had one (yet)

Go with the nautilus. Beautiful watch. And the bracelet is easy to size with any eyeglass repair kit.

Thanks Richard. Would it be a fair trade to trade an original NOS (waterproofed to 3.2atm) MBW 1665 for a nautilus?

there are several different levels of Nautilus out there, with prices ranging for accuracy and movement. How much would you value the NOS at?

Probably $400-$500. Just took off the wrapping last week. Has eta movement and proven (with pics) WR. I'd want highest quality Nautilus.

My Australian friend is correct... the ultimate Nautilus would trade for that much .. check the date window being flush to the "3" side of the dial (no dots) and an open caseback.

Variations in value based on the strap though.

The Nautilus is not a big watch, it's actually pretty small!

Are there more links that you can still remove?

Yeah still 3 links that can be removed, the links are quite small but there's just under another inch still to be removed I reckon

Thanks DC. What do you think of yours? I'm trying to trade my NOS MBW 1665 for an SW200 Nautilus. Do you think thats a fair trade?

Yeah that sounds fair to me, the SW200 new is about $500 at the moment!

It's a lovely watch, you won't regret getting one!!

Thank DC. I'm looking for the same one as you. Have you had yours waterproofed/pressure tested by any chance? What did it pass to?

Well my blue dial Nautilus isn't an SW200 its an A4813, less than half the price and still a lovely watch! I'm probably going to sell mine soon to get the SW200 though as I wear it all the time so it's worth spending the money for the better movement and more accurate case/crown/dial!!

A4813, is that a 21j? Who did you get yours from?

I just got the same watch from Watch International with the SW200 movement. It is absolutely gorgeous.

I have a question about resizing the bracelet though, as I want to be particularly careful with this beauty and not mess anything up.

Do I push the pins out as normal, or do I need to unscrew them? (I notice that one side of the pins looks flat, while the other side looks like a small, flat screw).

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm thinking they will be screw pins mate.

They could be screw pins or split pins like Tag uses. Try unscrewing first and if that doesn't work, try pushing out from the flat end, so the split end comes out. (if that makes sense)

You can remove up to 6 links, 3 on each side. Look at scale for link width. You'll need to remove 5 or 6 for a 6" wrist but it'll work.

Enjoy the watch, it's a stunner.
