Adviceneeded: lefty watch.

I need a watch for my PR man. Should be lefthanded, with chrono, size - around 44mm, elegant, not too bulky, with SS bracelet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!

There is a lefty submersible with an A7750, but it's not a chrono and it usually comes on rubber.

The other lefties I've seen are all non-chrono. Too bad the Ferarris are made as lefties. They'd be perfect.

OK, here's the solution: I can buy PAM 253 Regatta Flyback, or any other similar watch, like Ferrari or some 2-subdial IWCs, turn the dial 180 degrees, paint off minutes subdial numbers, reset chrono hand 180 degrees, and I will have lefty chrono.

2 problems only - is it possible to attach reversed dial to the movement, and - how to turn rehault 180 degrees?

PAM fans, any wisdom?

Yes, what you plan is possible imo.

The dial feet are positioned at approximately the 3 minute and 33 minute position on 7750 dials, so in theory you should be able to rotate it 180. However, if this doesnt work (I don't see why it shouldn't) you can cut the dial feet off and attach it with 'sticky' tabs/tape.

As for the rehaut, is it stamped into the the case or a plastic ring seperate from the dial as I don't know this model that well? I know on BCE dials that the rehaut with the markings on is made from plastic and attached to the dial, I've never split one though. So if your model in question is of the same construction, turning this 180 should be do-able too with care...:P

Doc's right, the lefty sub (239) is pretty nice. here's mine. you can put a s/s band if you want.

panerai makes alot of lefty models, more than anyone i'd guess. for ex.

i love the 026- lefty pvd!
