edwinowl 180 Posted April 28, 2013 Hey guys. Just finished another of my projects which has been a long time, seemed never ending. Bought a 1680 case from Baxter well before Xmas if I recall. Stripped the 21j out. Well basically fu...ed the keyless to be precise but I always intended popping in an Asian ETA. I vintagised the case which was fun and heat treated the bezel insert which turned a nice brownish colour where the red part was. Amperes then kindly offered a pair of gen spring bars which were perfect. I sourced a dial from Pvirus over on WH and aged some ETA hands .. The crystal was next and I struggled a little but good old Amperes again when I spotted his gen SeaDweller crystal which is a beaut. I had Zrno over on WH make me a nice leather Nato with white stitch which brought the whole thing together for me..Put her together this morning and a few pics this afternoon. Here goes..
