gB. 0 Posted May 1, 2013 Came across this on a gen forum advertised and sold by WatchObsession from the UK. It's from a new strap maker and this Neolithic strap is their first offering. Interesting strap and wish I had a B&R to put it on. Almost makes me want to buy a B&R, almost... Can't wait to see what they come out with next for other watch models. BLACK BADGER STRAPS - THE NEOLITHIC DISTRESSED LEATHER WATCH STRAP BLACK BADGER STRAPS Here is the first release from this new Company, and what an entrance !! THE NEOLITHIC LIMITED TO 100 PIECES ONLY !!! “At BBS, we wanted to bring a strap that represented the beginning of the brand and took our design inspiration to the beginning of time and produced a strap that could well have been made in “Neolithic” times.” The strap is made using distressed leather giving an instant aged, weathered appearance which will only get better with wear. The wide keeper is made from a solid piece of DuPont Sandstone Corian and could have almost been chiseled from a solid piece of stone. The buckle had to remain functional and do a job so we took a stainless steel buckle and applied a Cerakote finish, the hardest coating available, finished of in a Desert Sand colour to compliment the strap & keeper. We really hope you like what you see !! SPECIFICATION Width – Overall 35mm at the watch and 24mm at the buckle Lug Width – 24mm Length – 120 / 80mm approximate excluding buckle Wearable length – 145mm minimum to 185mm maximum ( in the 185mm position the tongue on just sits in the keeper by 10mm ) Thickness – 4mm approximately Strap – Distressed Tan Leather with Tan stitching and BBS Logo to the rear Buckle – Stainless Steel Cerakote Bell & Ross Style Screw In Keeper – Oversized Sandstone Du Pont Corian Complete with Presentation Box

onionbag 1 Posted May 1, 2013 Here's a story about the start up... http://www.br-avo.co...er-straps-4572/ "We are putting so much of ourselves into these designs, and we think we are working on something really special. I wanted to capture a bit of the industrial esthetic of my hometown here of Göteborg, with all it's rust and industrial awesomeness. (Gary wanted to put something of his Welsh location into the straps but frankly a buckle made from a potato wasn't do-able)"
gB. 0 Posted May 1, 2013 Fuck me... I just ordered this strap and now have to buy my first Bell & Ross watch to try it out on. I'm leaning towards the 42mm size BR03, and the SS version seems the best fit for the strap, therefore BR03-92 model. I'm a total B&R noob, so which rep version is the best for the BR03-92? Anyone? :wyliehelp:
Visioneer 132 Posted May 3, 2013 I like it...may have to B&R to my watch list.
gtwc 1 Posted May 3, 2013 gB: fuck me backwards but that is one ugly strap. I also saw it on WatchObsession and avoided it like the proverbial barge pole. The 'corian' keeper was also a big no-no. Mebbe I'm wrong and this is the sign of things to come..................
