terma-nator 0 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) I am looking for an everyday wearer, and I've narrowed it down to these two pams. But I can't decide which one to get. The first one is the 127 (Fiddy) replica of the remake. It seems that it is very well done (a "super-rep"). I especially love the clear back showing the nearly identical looking movement to the original. I also prefer the shape of this case. The second one is the 029m GMT. I don't really need a GMT, but I do like the way this watch looks. I really wish it had a display back, that would have probably been the deciding factor. It's also a "super-rep" I already own a pam 250 chrono, so this will double the amount of my Panerai watches to two. Most of the watches that I own are chronos, but I do have a few "regular" watches including the requisite Rolex Sub. I sometimes like to know the history of watches that I buy. It is interesting, but not really a deciding factor. So? Which one do I get? Edited May 4, 2013 by terma-nator
H3X4GON 0 Posted May 4, 2013 In my opinion, I'd go with the GMT. Gotta love those GMT's
KarmaToBurn 1,419 Posted May 4, 2013 If it were me I'd go with the GMT but it sounds like you prefer the 127. Order the 127 now and I'm sure you'll still order the 029 sometime in the near future.

Abagnale 0 Posted May 4, 2013 this doesn't look like the noob 127 to me. the engravings are very bad. please make sure, that you order to correct watch from one of our tds. cheers

tesmith2112 0 Posted May 4, 2013 It's like boobs, when you get sick of one, you move to the other. I say get both!
flyr 4 Posted May 4, 2013 No GMT yet, get the ...029.
Whorologist 227 Posted May 4, 2013 As said above, if your wrist can take the monster, its got to be the fiddy. Also if its history you are after i think the fiddy beats the GMT.
terma-nator 0 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) I didn't realize how big the fiddy would so big on my wrist. I just looked at the 250 on my wrist, and don't think that the larger 127 would good. I will probably get the GMT 029 (Unless I spot something I like better! There's so many different pams, and they look almost the same as the next.. thedavidrush 0 Posted May 4, 2013 Forgive the stupid question, but I'm still learning. What is GMT? I see a lot of different reps offer "GMT" but I have no clue what it is.
