Thoughts on this Tudor Sub on the 'bay?

VINTAGE ROLEX TUDOR OYSTERDATE SUBMARINER $1 N/R

 

A stainless steel Rolex Tudor Oyster 9411/0 submariner 200m, circa 1960-70s. The black dial has aged aluminous battons, outer minute tracking and centre seconds, signed Tudor prince oysterdate 200m-660ft submariner swiss. The 41mm stainless steel oyster case with bezel missing is signed in the back Montres Tudor sa geneva switzerland patented stainless steel. The crown screws down and is signed but needs to be replaced as pops off the stem. The 25 jewel automatic wound movement is working although not serviced by us and will need a service to keep good time, signed Tudor auto prince, cal 2784. Listing with no reserve!

It looks knackered to me :P lol

 

But I do like it... ;)

 

Needs plenty of work to get it back up to looking decent, even as a 'vintagised' model!!

A little over-vintaged for my tastes. It's already passed what I would think it's worth, but it will probably go for about 3x what it's at now.

 

I wonder why it doesn't have a Tudor crown?

I'm into lost causes but if your missus was cleaning out the drawers and saw that , it'd be headed for the bin. Looks like junk and probably is, otherwise the seller would've fixed it up...is that minute hand correct?

Honestly, I'd give it a miss at that price, mate. Last time I saw something in that bad a state it was upside-down on the M4 with a truck parked on top of it...

Old Tudor's used Rolex case parts.

 

This Tudor will sell for well over $5K.
