"yet again"...is that a bad sign?

I also get a strange warning at the top of the page saying:

"WARNING: I am able to write to the configuration file:....this is a potential security risk..."?

The warning is for Josh - it means that he hasn't changed the permissions on the OSCommerce main configuration file after install. Let's hope he spots it before the hackers do. Silly boy

He seems to do this two or three times a year. I don't know whether he's paranoid or whether he's got Rolex chasing him. The odd bit is that he seems to stay on the same server - it's only the domain that changes...

No doubt Andrew's site will be moving too (if it hasn't already)

I guess that being siamese twins makes it difficult for one to move without the other noticing and following

Would it be safe to use your cc there then?

He is the Jacky Chang of reps..

"After all those years in Asia, I don't have to do promotion anymore. We just release a Jackie Chan rep and - Boom! - people go and buy them"

and then when asked if he was sacred of the authorities try to hunt him down he says:

Of course I'm scared. I'm not Superman. " "I'm crazy, but I'm not too crazy. "

His thoughts on grown white men that need to lie to their wifes about buying repts:

"Since the white man knew his wife would give in, he tried the same trick again and again."

Parting thought about his competitors:

"Don`t try to be like Jackie. There is only one Jackie. Study computers instead."

Yup should be - that's all SSL encrypted. The problem is just relating to a basic config file used to tell the site what domain it's on etc. Anyhow, Josh seems to have noticed and fixed it...

uhm... and?

Not sure what point you're trying to make here RA. Other than the name change, that's no different from any time in the past.

o.k, just to say its easy to localise somebody and attack.

I could be wrong but one of my theory is that Josh is (almost) the only one who is chased by different authorities. His market is wider than rep watch board members. That's may be the reason. He sell a lot of reps to official institutions, and that has to disturb the Rolex comp. for exemple.

A French paradox, as France is know to be the country of exceptions :

in French movies all watches, guns, jewlery must to be reps. Producers and movie companies buy in any legality rep accessories, why not from Josh ?

On all Swiss and French TV channels talk shows about counterfeit they have shown Josh and Andrew website home page.

I never knew that!!

Why do they have that restriction? Is it product placement issues?

I know I can't look at his site anymore, not because of the site moves, simply because I can't see the watches anymore for all the different watermarks on the photos :D

Those watermarks are getting out of hand, one or two would suffice.
