usudno 0 Posted May 21, 2013 I've read and read and confused myself so I read more. Well it all boils down to what do I actually need. Let me start by sayin I'm looking for the best looking rep. It's going to be a daily beater for me. My options for good lookers seam to be 1. The ultimate p.o. 2. Version 5 3. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=28921 (not sure what this is) I'm drawn to the last one. Looks good and is cheap. Anyone have any thoughts on these three and which one they would choose for a beater
OmegaOverlord 0 Posted May 26, 2013 i have the last one great except for the crown issue. im thinking of purchasing the v5
usudno 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I've decided on the ceramic po. My only worry is the bezel fading.
carus007 23 Posted May 27, 2013 The Ultimate is a nice watch with a Orange bezel, Saying that I also like the Chrono version.
stenchlord 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I love my CPO and both my UPOs. CPO is great but it is a v1 and it shows with issues like crooked markers, fading bezels, etc. The UPO is a great watch and for $150 you can't really go wrong. The 4813 has been a good, reliable movement to me personally and my UPOs are pretty much my daily beaters. If I had a choice between a single CPO and two UPOs I'd go the UPOs any day of the week. carus007 23 Posted May 27, 2013 Yep, Movement wise would go with the Asian Clone. When I first started buying reps and always went for swiss movements, Now I stick with the cloned Asian as trust me with are just as good, Excellent smooth sweep, Plus you are saving £££££

R1evans 0 Posted May 27, 2013 If you go for the ceramic its a glass caseback and when close up you see signs of bad workmanship, where as if you get a v5 or upo its a solid caseback and all is hidden. And you wont have to worry about bezel fade.
carus007 23 Posted May 27, 2013 Been reading on other forums about CPO, apparently there has been alot of complaints about Bracelets falling to piece's, One guy has had his whole watch wrecked, not good! Keep this in mind
stenchlord 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I personally prefer the bracelet on my CPO. Not had an issue with it falling to pieces, having said that I gave mine a bath and then made sure to properly tighten the screws on the bracelet.
R1evans 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I done the exact same to mine, just used wd40,then tightened all the screws, just as we'll as 3 were pretty loose.

Muzzi 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I got the $150 special from Watch international with orange numbers and bezel. I love it and have worn it every day since I got it (about 5 weeks). For the money I don't think you can go wrong. It also has a solid case back which I personally think is a plus if the movement doesn't look like the gen. usudno 0 Posted May 27, 2013 Sounds like v5 may be the way to go then. I'm not big on the open CB. I'll read up a bit more on the v5s. 150 is much easier to swallow than 325. He'll my tag on the way was over 400 shipped.

Jan-mj 0 Posted May 28, 2013 I'm wearing my secon PO bracelet on my v5 as a daily beater. The first bracelet basically fell apart so I ordered a second one. On the second one, one of the links also fell apart for no reason but i managed to replace it with one of the (few) "good" links from the first bracelet. It has been 7 months without incidents so I think it won't be happening again - but it really bothered me
carus007 23 Posted May 28, 2013 Upo on Rubber! Incoming as you speak I can't find on rubber? Where did you buy? Toro has them on Rubber on his website I think.
R1evans 0 Posted May 28, 2013 This baby will be on my ceramic as soon as i get a clasp. It will make my baby complete.
usudno 0 Posted May 31, 2013 What's you guys opinions on the movement options. I don't need the Swiss movement. I'm toying with the idea of a cheaper movement. It's going to be a daily beater.. V5 is my decision. I've read that there are some issues with some of the cheaper movements. I want reliability but don't need Swiss.
