Pam 217 from Toro

Recommended Posts

After getting the bug with an 026k, i wanted something bigger and shiny.

Pams don't get much bigger and better than the Fiddy. Having the 026 made me realise i quite like the destro design of having the CG pointing up my arm, rather than catching up on my hand, and as i preferred the dial - the 217 was the obvious choice.

Think these are getting harder to source, so was glad when Toro got it to me in the UK in exactly a week from order. Again, he has done good!

Here's its grand dad...from @ 5 yrs ago...It's an old EL type front loader(movement won't come out via caseback) with a plexi crystal I put on it to replace the "exploder" it came with!!

Nice watch. I bought the 127 from Toro but then it was out of stock. This could be an alternative.

Enjoy.

For a nice strap have a look at panatime as they're having a sale at the moment.

Got a lovely rough edged for my Fiddy last week.

Think your Lefty is a stunner!!

Funnily enough, 47mm doesn't wear too big. I have 7.5" wrists and it looks spot on. Do like a big watch though.

My 44mm 026 does look a little small now though :-(

Looked great on the black croc strap at my Sister's wedding yesterday. Can easily pull off the formal look.

Shall be going on a nice thick vintage ammo next to rock the casual look.

Love it. Wish all Pams were 47mm......

Funny, we can shake hands :-)

My first rep was a 026k too, and my second a 217
