Is that dial painted?

Yes they are all painted. You have sandwich dials and sausage dials but all of them are painted because they are mostly made of brass.

I meant why did you get a sausage dial for a 111? Or was there an old 111 with sausage dial?

Impressive 7days, btw, congrats.

This 111 is sandwich. They are so easy to relume. Sausage is nice but must have good OEM lume.

Love the Laco 55mm. I had never seen one before. I now must go further in debt and find one:)

Its quasi a superrep from WWII model. Laco did build a lot of those watches, but it quasi unwearable.

You spoilt us with number 8 JP. Beautiful. You have an envious collection so far.

Are you daily choices also the ones you have decided to wear that day?

I absolutely LOVE this vintage Omega Contsellation. BEAUTUFUL!!!

I'll hazard a guess and say rep because of the shape of the case. I've seen a few of the Constellation F300s that have this amazing tuning fork movement and all incl the the Cone case Constellation had almost no case material at the crown. They were basically bezel with minimal case.

Either way a great watch that I would very much like to have.

Thank you for showing it off.

A nice variation of beauties...keep them coming. If I keep looking at all the nice watches on the site then I may get satisfied with just being a looker....NOT!

just noticed there is a vintage B-UHR 47mm for sale in the M2M section. More wearable than the 55mm, but still looks the biz. If I hadn't just purchased a Railmaster would probably snap it up.

I did start taking pics of my collection the last days. Basically I take out a box and do a shooting of a dozen watches. These are then uploaded and used for my tread.

I wasn't sure people like vintages but I see you do. Great.

Its gen, cases were quite "easier" in those times. Movement in excellent running condition.

Number 9 is a other beauty JP. I'd love to see a shot that better catches the colour of the dial. All the pics i see these look pretty much black.

Second pic shows the real colour. I had to put it in direct sunlight.

Depends really on the light. I think blue dials are quite hard to shoot.

You can see the blue in the rolex dial a lot better than on the 082. I'd still have the 082 though. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Nice pics JP.

I absolutely detest the design of Rolex Gens or Reps, but I must say, that Blue face dial is bloody stunning JP.

And interesting point about having a blue face in your collection.

Always thought a white dial equated with summertime.

Brilliant.

Thats interesting. My most loved summertime watch was an IWC Cousteau, it was blue and orange. At one moment those were so higly asked that I sold it for 2x the official price. But I still regret it. So for me summer is blue and orange.
