gtwc 1 Posted June 19, 2013 IWC is a beauty. I have the same - apart from a non St. Exupery strap and mine has the platinum shit on the bottom. Apart from that - identical.

JohnPilot 1 Posted June 19, 2013 What part do you call platinum shit? Enlighten me Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 Ok here we go: There are 2 reps of the BP 5004 One good, the above 5004 with correct bottom and date. One fantasy: 5004 dial and 5002 bottom of the limited platinum version, cries rep at 100 yards. Date is sunken.

JohnPilot 1 Posted June 21, 2013 The egi looks awesome JP. Why are you going to sell it? I did put in a lot of work and love but I never wear it, its way too heavy.
James. 4 Posted June 21, 2013 Hopefully it'll arrive soon for some finishing work from athaya. Ill post a pic once it arrives, it'll be sterile, but when done a nice aged brown. Rusty almost.
rocky4691 0 Posted June 21, 2013 Beautiful collection, I didn't feel to bad til I saw that now I'm sick with envy. I absolutely love the color of the Rolex date just 2 and the pearl in your sub looks great , so much better than the replacement pearl I had to put in mine after losing the original. Please keep these great pics coming, it gives me many more options for my wish list. Thanks for the post

I don't know the maker of my sub LV, bought it on Bali, but there are diff. bezel replacement qualities available. Maybe you should just try to get a better one. Or go for a self fix with epoxy. Here a pic of my 187 with selfmade pearl. It was my first try, now they get much better
TheSav 2 Posted June 21, 2013 That blue stingray strap looks awesome on the 187 JP.

baxter 6 Posted June 22, 2013 This thread is amazing JP - I don't comment every day but never fail to check in great watches and great photos. The glashutte is reminiscent of many watches of that era but the 6 & 12 really make it special - love it !!
JohnPilot 1 Posted June 22, 2013 Thanks Jess, the Glashütte factory had an enormous choice of very well made watches. Their automatic movement spezimatic gained several competitions. There are several great books about but only in german.
