spboudart 0 Posted April 30, 2010 Damned! Nobody has any idea how HUGE is an Egi until you have it in your hand. I had to use a chain block to put it on my arm, yes I said arm, 'cause you really do not wear this watch on your wrist!!!! see pics: Anyway, at the same time I received the watch I also received a Panerai watch stand and I think 'Big Ben' has found her place and is herre to stay. ebzen02 341 Posted April 30, 2010 lol, this is just insane. Apply a PVD treatment and you've got a hockey puck   Too much for a wrist to bare.. Perhaps I should get one just to exercise my left wrist.. considering that it is half an inch narrower than my right one..

Your wrist stays the same size but your arm gets longer from dragging the weight of the friggin' thing around...

ebzen02 341 Posted April 30, 2010 Yup.. I am right handed Therefore, it would be kinda of dangerous to wear that watch on my right hand..specially now that the wife is recuperating and all I have are my 5 brothers to help!!
houndoggie 58 Posted April 30, 2010 Very Nice. Now go hang it back on the wall where it belongs.

greg_r 81 Posted April 30, 2010 dmisgod, this is the most-travelled watch on RWG. It was originally mine and has reached spboudart via Oscar and Kinky. I dunno how much it weighs as it broke the scales when I tried to weigh it. It would, however, suit the monkey as at least his knuckles are already dragging on the ground. My left arm is now about 4" longer than my right and I only wore it for about a day and a half!
graman 2 Posted April 30, 2010 Enormous, it is............. Wearing for too long would give ye arms like sconey.....

GC 4,511 Posted May 3, 2010 What do you expect...when italians say big they mean BIG!!! It really is quite BIG isn't it, I would have to wear it around my thigh. Looks great, now leave it on the stand!
Baldrick 1 Posted May 3, 2010 I think this should become the 'passaround watch', just to give everybody the opportunity to wear it, if only once, then they could judge what their max size is for future purchases.
