bodybuilder 0 Posted December 5, 2016 Does anyone know if the bezel is only unidirectional? I have read reviews on the v6 one I think saying its bidirectional? Anyone have any ideas. As the survey suggests this GMT has indeed grown on me!

Slightly missed you won't regret getting in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Diver Dave 0 Posted March 30, 2017 (edited) . Orange bezel? good for actual diving, Actually..... No. Orange (red) is the first color lost when diving. It just looks brown, and then black. Like by fifteen feet. Remember that water acts as a strong blue filter, and red is the first to be filtered out. White light is, by definition, a mixture of all colors. If you want a dial or hand to be as visible as possible underwater, you paint it white so it'll reflect all of the frequencies that are available wherever you are. Orange and Red looks nice topside. They have zero worth underwater. The sole exception is if you deliberately want to attenuate "details" underwater but want to see them topside. Sinn has done this at times to simplify a dial when used underwater. Duly noting that the same effect takes place when you're in a red lighted area aboard a ship or airplane at night (the red printing on a map, for example, disappears) Dave (Yeah, I use this stuff underwater) Edited March 30, 2017 by Diver Dave
