How to reduce the thickness of a screw for a B&R !

Hello

 

First i'm french, so excuse me for my schoolar english :notworthy:

what a surprise when i look my B&R strap, a screw was fall, where ? if only i knew !!!! so on the web impossible to find B&R screw spares parts and i have search some hours... if someone know where i can find some please !!! give the link :wub: i pay a drink for !!!

so the mac gyver solution are this one :

a cordless drill, a file and a screw diameter of 2.8 i need to make a 2.4 thickness to plug into the case

just to put the tube and the screw into the drill and put the power ! take your file and put the pressure on it, 2 minutes and let's try !

 

perfect it work !!!!!

Narikaa had send me a screw ! very serious dealer now i have a spare screw if i loose lol :)

Good to know Naarika can source some. I've lost 2 of these myself, and I had to go t an AD and pay 10 EUR each...

They all seem to be different sizes - my quartz rep is some weird size that isn't 1.3mm hex key or 1.5mm hex key, and a 1.4mm hex key doesn't seem to exist... Whereas my Parnis homage versions have a different size completely!

I have 4 spare screws and 2 tubes from the replica 03-92. If anyone in CONUS needs a screw (stop giggling like a schoolkid) I would be willing to share them.

They are all SS, but could easily be made to look black.
