Xebryus 0 Posted June 6, 2013 PAM 111s should never be included in a dress watch thread....Radiomirs yes...111 series...NO ! Half of these watches I don't consider dress watches. Though, I was raised to believe dress watches should be small, discreet, and with minimal complications. Sometimes I even think a date complication is too much for a true dress watch. Here is mine

YahButWhy 0 Posted June 6, 2013 So are these "yes's" or "no's then?" Because what I am trying to decide on is a "dress" watch. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=53463
James. 4 Posted June 6, 2013 So are these "yes's" or "no's then?" Because what I am trying to decide on is a "dress" watch. http://www.rwg.bz/bo...showtopic=53463 Way too "busy" IMO. But if you like it, go for it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Except the missus...

Baldrick 1 Posted June 6, 2013 No chronographs....chronos are sports watches...and way too 'busy' ! In fact...if you take it to the wire...a 'proper' and acceptable dress watch...would not even have a running seconds hand ! EDITED TO ADD: Absolutely under no circumstances are RUBBER straps to be worn.....they may be OK in Monte Carlo / Juan les Pins...but at any acceptable social occasion ...should be reserved for the back-room "entertainment" with brandy and cigars...never in front of the ladies
arancini 0 Posted June 6, 2013 Patek read old man IMO. Non Patek...read..." I don't have a pot to piss in....a cup...perhaps...but it fills too quickly " As opposed to one that dribbles, nay, doesn't fill at all.....
