houndoggie 58 Posted May 5, 2010 So this is my first rep I've ordered "new" from a dealer (sead) in over 6 months. I had a nearly identical version that I sold a long time ago. So here it is, the "ultimate" BR02 rep with an asian ETA. Everything about this rep is very well done. I have no complaints about it. (okay.. maybe the strap could be longer.) Luckily, I found a great deal on WUS for a XL gen rubber strap and a Gen XL nylon strap for $95 for both. Here is the gen (not mine) for comparison:
bene3 0 Posted May 5, 2010 Cool watch. I always liked the look of this one. I might order a cheap one from Lawrence.
Member X 91 Posted May 5, 2010 This is the ultimate one, isn't it? The one that's near perfectly accurate to gen? I am tempted by these... I think lume triangle at 12 is a bit smaller on the gen and the lume should be blue, but everything else is pretty much spot on - and no sunken DW! Nice pick up

It tends to more greenish than blue. I agree, the triangle is the weakest link. Go for it.. It is one of the best built reps I've ever owned.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted May 5, 2010 That is the only B&R I like. I had one of the square ones and it blew. How much?
Luthier 1 Posted May 5, 2010 That is the only B&R I like. I had one of the square ones and it blew. How much? Agreed, this one is great. But.. what for is second crown? Date change? And yes, how much?
AllergyDoc 40 Posted May 5, 2010 Apparently the extra crown has to be unscrewed to turn the bezel, according to the B&R site.
greg_r 81 Posted May 5, 2010 The 02 is a great watch. I really must replace the one I had that got damaged recently....

Yeah, as I understand it the second crown turns the numbered bezel/rehaut so you can use it as a proper dive watch. I had forgotten about this model - damn you, now I have to add it to the list!! It does seem to be one of the forgotten super-reps.

vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted November 14, 2012 I have the chrono version of this. it's one of my favorite pieces. ...currently on it's way to 10:10 for repair :(
Member X 91 Posted November 14, 2012 Is there a contact for sead? Sead is a TD on RWI. Any of the TDs on this board should be able to get it for you if it is available. Email the TD of your choice with a link to this thread or picture of what you are looking for, and they can tell you if they can get it.
