Brian1024 0 Posted May 6, 2010 Hello, my dad's friend at work said he would be willing to give me $100+ if i can find a very rare watch. Here it is: It is a Hamilton Vega 1961 watch, with a yellow gold filled case. If you have some spare time, could you research it for me and try to find one for sale? If you can, please post up a link to the site. I'm really strapped for cash and i could use your help!

Member X 91 Posted May 6, 2010 A 1961 watch? Good luck with that... lol There's bound to be one out there for you but it will be tricky to source! Might be worth posting on WTB thread on a big gen board if you're allowed to with a low post count.

This watch islike impossible to find, and the only ones ive seen so far have been around $2000 dollars...But as to what i would do with the $100, i would have to say save it for college. =( no matter how much i "need" another watch, i also need an education, so i can one day buy the real things! Brian1024 0 Posted May 7, 2010 bump, I'm getting closer but am still having a hard time. Called that shop, but they didn't have one and the clerks sounded really bored and like there was something fun going on in the background.

Member X 91 Posted May 8, 2010 LOL It's the one where you type in what you're looking for in a box at the top and it then lists all the different watch websites below and if they have any listed for sale! I'm sure it was you who posted it...
greg_r 83 Posted May 8, 2010 Nope - wasn't me. There's this that I found in Onze's 'useful links' sticky though (btw Onze - if you see this. That is one hell of a good post. Can't count the number of times I've referred to it. Thank you!) http://www.elitedealseeker.com/index.cgi?c...ord=&ageupp
