Can I ask why it's the 38mm being repped and not the 41mm? I would have thought the larger size would be more popular. Yeah, it seems they went off and bought the 2nd most popular colour, and 2nd most popular size as well, can't trust those factories They are talking now about buying the 38.5 blue skyfall as well, to cover both colours and sizes, it may be just talk yet but hope they do it. So now they have the gen how long does it usually take to produce a good rep? Obviously I mean a rough timeline as I'm sure it depends on many different factors. Good question, just look how long the tudor BB has been in production........... Man I want one of these though Generally 6 months to a year, but then as mentioned stuff like the Tudor BB seems to be taking forever¬ Some reps do come out pretty quickly, just look at the recent AP 15400 variations, most were out in about 4 months from start of production. It would be nice to see some variations of the Aqua Terra by early next summer. We'll have to wait and see. If we can get updates to production/prototype pics then at least we could see progress. I was looking at the old ones, which were sold from 2007 to around 2010, and I must say they are inferior. http://www.p-cls.com...2892-p-923.html And not just rep, even the gen, new bracelet is way better, 41mm size is better than 39mm. I don't know about red color yet, will have to wait to get the watch. But I think the dials are in a tie, old one had blue markers, but the new one has pretty markers and date window also, altough steel. And then the ribbed dial and even prettier hands. And printed logo means no problems like on Noob LE LiquidMetal. Also no divers bezel and no pearl make things a lot easier. Anyway, I already got the tracking number, so it should be here in 2 weeks. I'm not sure if it's already been addressed but regarding the movement, why is only the rotor decorated? the back of the gen looks reminiscent of the barrel of a gun whereas the rep doesn't mimic this. But I guess they have problems with blue, it is certainly hardest to rep, besides Captain's, but they had a gen for Captain's.
