cvcman 0 Posted May 9, 2010 looks like most of these dealers do not take credit cards ??? What is a homage watch ?? Out of all the dealers listed which would be YOUR #1 choice and why ?
greg_r 83 Posted May 9, 2010 looks like most of these dealers do not take credit cards ??? What is a homage watch ?? Out of all the dealers listed which would be YOUR #1 choice and why ? Welcome to RWG 1. Some do, many don't. That's the nature of the business (do bear in mind that selling replica watches is illegal!). Many take paypal - or there are other alternatives such as Western Union or various other payment processors that you can fund with a credit card. 2. See here for some info about homage watches: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/page5/page5.html Essentially they're watches 'in the style' of well known makers, but made by a lesser manufacturer. They're 100% legal to buy, own and sell (which is why you find even fairly major manufacturers like Rotary making homages). Some of them are very nice indeed. A couple of our forum dealers specialise in Panerai-style homages. I own several - they're stunning value for money 3. Impossible question to answer. Those who have subforums here are the cream of the crop. We're VERY picky about who we invite and they're all damn good.
Member X 91 Posted May 9, 2010 looks like most of these dealers do not take credit cards ??? What is a homage watch ?? Out of all the dealers listed which would be YOUR #1 choice and why ? Probably something to do with them selling technically illegal copies, therefore not wanting issues with big banking corporations if problems arise! Homage is a watch that looks like another watch but may have a different name on it, or no name at all (sterile). Everyone has their own choice of favourite dealer. All of the ones on here are approved because they have good customer service and actually send the watch you've ordered, not a cheap bit of tin like you get off scam sites. Look around, find what you're looking for, make contact with dealers and see who you like the feel of. EDIT: too slow I am lol

greg_r 83 Posted May 9, 2010 All of our dealers can be found in the Collector's zone (along with a list of off-forum dealers who we also find trustworthy) http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...hp?showforum=
KBH 7 Posted May 9, 2010 If you want the fastest, easiest, takes credit cards and PayPal, and one of the best for first time buyers. Take a look at Joshua from Perfect Clones. Great web site with huge variety. Sometimes he's a little more expensive than dealers like Mary, Robert, or Lawrence but he's a great starter dealer. When you get a little more comfortable move onto one of the others and save a little money.

cvcman 0 Posted May 10, 2010 ever deal with this place http://www.watchessell.com/products/BREITL...ssic-19003.html seems like a good price and a good movement right ??
Member X 91 Posted May 10, 2010 lol £75 for a new rep to the market? With Swiss movement? Using genuine pictures to sell? That's too good a price... If you want that, check Mary's section as I'm sure she's listed it. And she will get that watch, not send you some cheap bit of tin. If the seller isn't on the trusted dealers list, stay away. greg_r 83 Posted May 10, 2010 ever deal with this place http://www.watchessell.com/products/BREITL...ssic-19003.html seems like a good price and a good movement right ?? Scammer alert. Stick to the trusted dealers - what you get from those guys will NOT be what's in the photos (photos are of gens).
