cybee 0 Posted May 9, 2010 It is just a bit tacky, but with a wooden skewer and a base a simple balance tack is made. It's a nice way to store the balance plus sometimes it helps to get out the kinks in the hairspring Hey, if it wasnt so simple I wouldnt be able to do it. I'm always looking to learn new tricks.Completed my first tear down and rebuild of a swiss eta today and at the last moment the intermediate wheel went flying across the room. cybee 0 Posted May 9, 2010 Good diy idea Cybee...that balance wheel, what's it off? The balance is off the Hammie 917 I have. The pallet lever had a missing jewel so I'm fixing it.
