cvcman 0 Posted May 11, 2010 what about another brand ??
rc42 0 Posted May 11, 2010 40mm is a bit small for a 'heavy' chrono watch, the Breitlings start in the 42-44 range, you could look at the Omega SMP but again I don't think they go that small. The Rolex Daytona is about 41mm I think and should be heavy enough but there are reliability issues witht he seconds at 6 movements, there is a gen seconds at 9 model though so you could look for a rep of that. Good luck with your search
KBH 7 Posted May 11, 2010 Ebel 1911 Little smaller is Omega speedmaster date Both are great reps!
AllergyDoc 40 Posted May 11, 2010 The Ebel is beautiful but isn't it 43mm? 42?
Member X 91 Posted May 11, 2010 I think it's 43mm? I say just go for a bigger watch, 40mm is small nowadays
KBH 7 Posted May 11, 2010 The Ebel is beautiful but isn't it 43mm? 42? It's about 42mm. But it's comfortable and doesn't seem so large. The size of the bezel is actually smaller than a Sub or Sea Dweller.

rc42 0 Posted May 14, 2010 The Chronomat's wear smaller than they are but seem to sit quite high on the wrist, unless of course you've just been wearing an SA, then it feels like a toy.
