jerkstore 14 Posted June 27, 2013 I found an eBay seller listing this, so I snatched it up... Can you guess the maker?
1littlegreen 1 Posted June 27, 2013 Going to risk it and say it's a gen service case
Garyun 0 Posted June 27, 2013 hmmm hope you have some serious cash for a gen big crown case! But it does look very good IMO
jerkstore 14 Posted June 27, 2013 I wish it was a gen case. Nighty-night time for me. But tomorrow, I will make the big reveal that you all are waiting for. On pins and needles.
SSTEEL 0 Posted June 27, 2013 Looks good. Look forward to your reveal.
jerkstore 14 Posted June 28, 2013 It's a Yuki! I was hoping for a Minh or a Phong, but I'm really happy with it. Even though the serial number is wrong, the engravings look good and it supposedly takes gen spec parts. These go for $800 from Yuki. That's a lot. But this case is also more accurate than a Silix. We can dream that the low cost rep makers will make more of an effort at getting even the case right. But why should they, as long as we keep buying?
jerkstore 14 Posted June 28, 2013 No first hand experience on whether its water resistant, but the website explicitly states that Yuki doesn't guarantee WR (seems like a standard disclaimer for all of his cases): http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6924997/7278344.htm
J!m 289 Posted June 28, 2013 That is a great looking case! And it has a date in the back cover, which service cases do not have. Great find! Are there any more?
