HeavyKrush 16 Posted July 4, 2013 I have been looking for a Breitling to add to my collection but couldn't really decide which model. Admittedly I hadn't done much research as it was more of a passing need rather than a full on "jonesing". Browsing M2M I spotted fikeies Steelfish offering. Seemed like a good price and a way to jump feet first into Breitlings. Nothing could have prepared me for the jewel that arrived. After 20+ reps I thought I couldn't be surprised by quality any longer... not true. This watch is perfect, I honestly can not find a single flaw. From the fit and polish, to the bezel click, to the smooth movement, this gem is simply awesome. The watch wears heavy but I'm so used to this with my DSSD and EGI that it's perfectly at home on my 7.25" wrist. Okay, enough blah blah, on to the pics... Cheers! Or how does it compare to a Avenger Skyland (222g) I want one for a daily wearer and find the Avenger to heavy at the moment due to a shoulder Injury thats expect to take a year or so to clear up. HeavyKrush 16 Posted July 4, 2013 Sorry Scorp, I don't have a scale that's anywhere close to that accurate. Using my kids balancing scale though I can tell you it's maybe 1-2 grams heavier than my DSSD but lighter than a Ploprof.

Using my kids balancing scale though I can tell you it's maybe 1-2 grams heavier than my DSSD but lighter than a Ploprof. So what do you weight you drugs on man? only kidding thanks for info So my DSSD weighs in at 198g so that puts it at around 200g, damn it thats still pretty heavy for my screwed shoulder. My lightest watch is a Omega Pumpkin on leather @ 89g then my Chopard GTXL @ 125g and my sub is around same. Yep I am weighing them all to ease the pain. nev848 0 Posted July 4, 2013 I just got this Abyss and loving it and its a little lighter then my Gen SOSF. This is on a Gen strap so much nicer than the stainless one.
964boy 54 Posted July 4, 2013 great buy and as LightGeek says, get on one of these
slask111 0 Posted July 4, 2013 Congrats on the sosf. I can't agree more, after 20+ reps myself this is my daily beater. Wear it well. Sent from my i9505
hnic 1 Posted July 5, 2013 great buy one of the best never take it off the ss i absolutly hate leather straps on a breitling
James. 4 Posted July 5, 2013 Nice, I had one but preferred my seawolf and SOA. IMO the SOSF is too thick for its width but the built quality on the Bert super's are really, really astounding, especially given their relative cheapness compared to other "super reps"
TheSav 2 Posted July 5, 2013 Looks brilliant. The breitling bracelets are good too.
