Luthier 1 Posted May 16, 2010 B&R made only 60 tourbillon watches, and the price of each is around $120,000.

Ska 11 Posted May 19, 2010 definite fake - and a lazy one at that, let alone the obvious probability given the gen's price and scarcity. 1. BR1 Tourbillon only has either Titanium Alloy/Gold Plated casing not obvious dark anodised steel as in photo. 2. The plated gens all have light coloured/matching faces. - You can't get a dark face with a lighter contrasting body. - Also the "Carbon Fibre" fascia looks decidedly crappy. 3. CRUCIALLY the Tourbillon movement which can be seen through the hole in the bottom dial has no jewel in the centre, and we can see brass beneath indicating at best a 7750 (If we're lucky). The Genuine Tourbillon movement is made from the same alloy as the case so would be grey. its so obvious that my comments are rather redundant but hopefully at best this should put a stop to any lingering doubt. Perhaps I should post this on ebay?
Ska 11 Posted May 19, 2010 http://www.bellross.com/media/images/catal...lon_300x450.jpg this should clear things up. Gorgeous watch though.

Marcus 0 Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) That's not even a Tourbillon! it's obvious just the balance wheel, and still it barely even qualifies as an open heart watch. It's just ugly. surely the person who won the auction must know a little about watches, and should be able to distinguish a tourbillon from a balance wheel. Again a watch that is supposedly from a brand such as B&R should ALWAYS come with it's original box and papers. Edited May 30, 2010 by Marcus
