Diver Inner Rotating Bezel Issues, even on the Gen

Recommended Posts

Was just reading this thread over t TRF...

Not something you could expect with a high end luxury timepiece, but just goes to show, even the genuine has its issues with this complication.

I wonder how long AP will take to fix that.

The crown broke off of my gen Tag link. These things happen.

If a similar post I read a while ago is anything to go by, could be up to 18 months!

How do we know this guy with the issue on that forum doesn't have the rep version?

Lots of eejits post their reps on gen forums.

I just spun the bezel on my swiss 3.5. It went 60 clicks with no

problem.

I know what you mean, but in this case, he does state that this particular watch is still under AP warranty.

You won't regret it mate, looked at these for ages and wondered why all the fuss, you know me Tudor/Rollie whore but I've picked up a V2 with full Vac mods, to say I'm really happy with it would be an understatement

Cool. Was planning on getting the V3.5 version as this is supposed to be the most accurate. If an AP diver has blue hue on the date, is this a 3.5, or am I getting mixed up?

Blue hue on V3 I believe mate, V3.5 should be colourless on date cyclops :suck: 3.5 is the way to go from what I've seen, I do remember seeing lots of crappy lume application on the initial 3.5 that came out though I think the newer batches were fine.

It's actually amazing how many issues there are with some genuine brands. I read so many horror stories from so many panerai owners with in-house movement, it's quite amazing. Panerai QC is also shit these days, really went down to hell around 2006. So we should be happy with current reps.

AP as a gen brand is really not worth the money at all, they are great but having more and more issues as well.
