Thanks photorog...

the bracelet has yet to be sized (i had to order a pin remover tool, it gets here in a few days), but I've read that there is a bit more to it than usual (oh joy)!!! :blue-screen-of-death:

GC, we'll send you our watches to photograph.

Or dealers should do it... for the price of photographed watch.

;)

Or better - they send you the rep., you send pics back, keep the watch.

:)

I resized my 42mm PO no problem but the UPO was a pain in the ***! It might be easier to take it to a watch guy and pay to have it done. There's a hinge in the clasp that seems to break easily as well, watch out for that if you do it yourself.

Thanks Luthier, very kind of you to say.

btw: I like the last idea best... hmmmm...how to become a photog for the dealers? ( insert evil laugh!!!)

Great pics, GC!

I didn't find either the PO or the UPO particular tough to resize.

Thanks photorog for the advice, it's much appreciated.

Finally light at the end of the tunnel... I'm gonna try it and see how difficult it is.

If it's too much, off to a shady watch smith that won't ask questions about the legit-ness.

GC, just send a few pictures to every dealer, and next day you'll get 50 emails, begging for your service.

Tell them you're the best in photographing $500+ watches.

P.S. By the way, I'm serious.

I've resized 2 POs and found that the hammer and pin remover tool (punch) method is best.

That really is nice!! I think this watch may be on the priority list

of watches to buy.

I just received from Robert a couple of Omega's - 40th anniversary Speedmaster Moonwatch

and Orange PO.

Both excellant watches, I had both resized by a local dealer.

She had all sorts of problems with the pins breaking - during the extraction process.

'Bastard pins' I think she referred to them as!

I'm just glad she did them and not me.

Hey guys

I'm new here, thanks for such an informative and useful forum.

Looking to buy a UPO chrono as my first rep.

Looked through a few of the trusted dealers, any recommendations as to who would be best?

been looking at this one from house of souvenirs:

http://houseofsouvenirs.com/omega/seamaste...gaswiss_063.htm

would this be classified as the UPO? Any help MUCH appreciated.

All the best

Welcome to RWG! :kinkythegayviking:

This is the latest and greatest version - with more accurate subdial spacing than the older versions you'll find around (and a good price!):

I suspect that Mary can also supply this in the black bezel version.
