Making a bezel insert for PO42mm

Hi all PO lovers.

 

Rep bezel insert is not bad at all. But pearl position is not good. It's off centered namely too low compared to gen pearl position.

I know no one will notice about the position. It is not someone but only I (maybe you) may not live with it.

 

This post if for anyone who want to make PO more gen like. Title is "How to make a bezel insert for PO".

 

1. Get bezel insert from WholesaleOutlet990.

 

Front.

 

Back.

 

This is not bad at all but still off centered and lume is very poor. I get to remove this pearl.

 

2. Enlarge the hole of the insert.

 

 

The hole should be between 1.9mm to 2.0mm. File it little by little very carefully while checking that the hole is centered.

 

3. Make up new insert.

 

 

I made up this insert look after Francisco's tutorial. If you can not make a pearl by yourself, use rep's pearl instead.

 

4. Epoxy this pearl with insert and put the insert into bezel.

 

 

5. Whole shot.

 

 

It's cost around $25 and takes 2 hours. You can save more than $200 compared to buying gen bezel.
