salokiN 0 Posted July 22, 2013 Hey guys, so I realized that the movements used in the Hublot Big Bang King Palladium is an Asian 7750, there's even a piece in the M2M that has a Swiss Valjoux 7750 beating within. What I don't understand is this, why is a chrono movement running a non-chrono watch?
greg_r 81 Posted July 24, 2013 It depends on the watch - you'll find a lot of 7750s with removed chrono gearing in non-chrono Panerai too. Usually it's simply a matter of the movement offering the correct datewheel (or in the case of PAMs, seconds subdial) positioning.
salokiN 0 Posted July 28, 2013 Yup, i understand that it's for the seconds subdial in the case of PAMs, but i didn't know the reason for Hublots until now. thanks Greg!
