Poll: Seiko monster Orange or Black?

Good morning friends,

 

Ok I have just come from a looooong night shift and before I hit the sack I have decided to treat myself to a Seiko monster - thanks to Del`s recent pictures for making me bankrupt!!

 

Now here lies the problem - I thought I would just order the orange and be done with it, but I cant seem to get away from the fact that the black monster also looks very nice.

 

So I will let you chaps decide for me...I will sleep for around 8 hours and when I woke up the order goes in!!

Seriously, the orange is very distinctive and I love the look of it - BUT I'd never wear it. Black on order.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these too. Would HAVE to be the orange one though.

 

Think ill probably order one in September once I've been paid my overtime from August.

Just get the orange one first, when you're bored of it, just get a gen black dial from Yobokies (based in Hong Kong) and swap it in. He also has lots of other stuff available for Seiko mods. You can even turn your Monster into a Snow Monster with white dial and blue bezel insert(?). I got my sapphire crystal upgrades for all my Seiko's from him.

Never seen the Orange in real life, I've got the black one and I love it, the quality is great and it wears really well.

 

Hopefully Dels might make an appearance at the GTG

I can assure you that I am far from being a highschooler.......! :P

 

Let me just say that when I received my Orange Monster while on holiday I expected my wife to tell me that it was ugly. However, to my great surprise, she said that she really liked the orange dial (she very rarely comments on my watches at all!) and then, to top it off, one of my sister-in-laws said she loved the orange dial too (she never batted an eyelid at my black Seawolf or Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT though!).
