Ska 11 Posted May 25, 2010 Hey all Herein my 1st RWG review. I thought it would be interesting as this was my first time to review not only the watch itself but also the whole dealer experience. I took Greg and Dingle's advice (Mainly because of dingle's avatar to be honest.) and decided to go with Mary for the purchase of my 1st rep, an Omega UPO Chrono. Hopefully this will give newbies an illustrated idea of what they can expect when buying from a forum dealer: Stage 1: Introduced myself on RWG, chatted around a bit. Ended up talking to greg and dingle. They suggested Watchinternational and Fransisco's review of the new 7750 mod for the UPO chrono with correct subdial placement. Stage 2: Looked over mary's threads and reviews. Decided to get in contact. Obviously this is just a first look, but when it arrives I'll be doing a much more thorough review. Until then, I'd really appreciate your thoughts........ Ska 11 Posted May 26, 2010 He he, yeah the sunken datewheel is a bastard but its much less noticeable than the subdial spacing!!! Definitely the lesser of two evils. I'm chuffed as nuts about the bezel pearl though. Ok Update: As of this morning just received an e-mail from Mary letting me know the watch was shipped yesterday and giving me the tracking number. Checked EMS tracker and found to my delight that it has already cleared Chinese customs and is winging its way over to the UK. Currently less than 3 days since initial purchase....AMAZING.
