Foxindebox 472 Posted August 19, 2013 Hi all, I'm about halfway through modding my Seiko SNKH55 into a Fifty Five Fathoms Homage. I just thought I'd post some pics of my progress Starting with Take out the movement Remove old dial and hands New dial and old hands fitted, movement back in New caseback on Here it is! I'm just waiting for my sailcloth strap, lumed bezel and new Blancpain type hands and I'll finish it off. TBC........ Cheers Rich
James. 4 Posted August 19, 2013 Nice! I really think these look better with the seiko sword hands TBH rather than the BP style.

I really think these look better with the seiko sword hands TBH rather than the BP style. Semaj, I was torn but decided to give them a go. (Ill keep the originals if I'm not feeling the bp's

Foxindebox 472 Posted August 21, 2013 Thanks guys. I really love this watch, so glad I did the mods. Nicely done Rich! Now, sell it to me. Please? Don't think I'll be letting this one go just yet Del These are cool projects! Care to list your sources of original watch and other parts please? Thanks in advance... The original watch was a Seiko SNKH55 I bought the dial and caseback from fleabay but you can get the dial from Dagaz and the caseback from Yobokies The lumed bezel insert and hands came from Yobokies The seconds hand and buckle came from Dagaz And finally, the strap was from Bradystraps I had no issues at all getting these parts and I highly recommend all of these sources. Thanks once again for your comments Rich
