Member X 91 Posted June 3, 2010 Glashuttes would get my vote - senator sixties if you're on a budget. (although you'd need a decent croc strap!)
Klink 0 Posted June 3, 2010 AustinTech, You want a rep or gen? lol. you win one upmanship for that.. heck, I am a rep myself, only have one gen. Peace Out, Klink Life is Good
Baldrick 1 Posted June 3, 2010 Here u go Mr. P., plenty of choice out there, classic leather straps and some more modern classics, you did ASK for photos or why not wear a Presidential favourite
Klink 0 Posted June 3, 2010 and budget? don't desire a tourby.. and hard to find a stck rep for more than $600.00 so guess it is more the look than the price. Thanks! K

Baldrick 1 Posted June 4, 2010 'Bald....' those photos.. the backgrounds.. remember who/when/where.. but then, thank you! (Magnaminity aboundeth) : ) Ahh yes, you can't beat a sampling of ole TTK's finest, he certainly had some nice items and knew how to present them. Anything take your fancy, I'm sure Narikaa would have access to some of the above!

Baldrick 1 Posted June 4, 2010 and, Baldrick.. thank you for time and effort.. and every transaction I ever had with TTK? Seamless, and the product? Superlative.. Mon plaisir, looking thru' these and thinking about all the posts I see from time to time about AR and the difficulty of photographing dials without getting reflections, reminded me of someone who asked him on TRC, "do you take the glass out to photograph the dials"? Seriously,
dingle 57 Posted June 4, 2010 the breguet gets my vote. Looking at one now for myself
Baldrick 1 Posted June 4, 2010 The Breguets are very nice and absolutely de rigeur for a black tie event. The Rollie is more suited to the tables at Vegas or for when going clubbing. no not nite clubbing, when Vinny and Tony are clubbing some 'unmade man'

imranbecks 511 Posted June 5, 2010 (edited) This is probably because I'm a big Bond fan... So I think the best dress watch for formal occasions should be on a steel bracelet and the best one would have to be the Omega SMP.... The 42mm Omega Planet Ocean on bracelet works well too(pictured below) But a 45mm one would be too big for formal occasions. But I still prefer the good old SMP pictured above....
