McJules 396 Posted August 21, 2013 hi everybody! this will be my first mini review of a watch i ordered this one from Angus and it was shipped thursday the 15th of august. yesterday, the 20th, it was already home! talk about fast shipping! here are some pics along with description first, the unboxing. i bought the watch with the box as it was pretty cheap and i wanted to see how it looked like my son was also helping me as you can see lol the box came with an outer white cardboard box, breitling black & yellow cardboard as well, a plastic (i think) black box with a small leather one inside! that's many box all in one! papers were there also and the beast inside all that i bought the watch with the rubber strap with clasp as i'm not really a metal bracelet type. as soon as the rubber strap was sized to my 7.5'' wrist, i swapped it with a handmade padded leather strap wich i think it look pretty good on the watch! you be the judge here's the mandatory lume shot under 10 seconds exposition super bright! some wrist shots and onto the details, the watch is superb!! very well built, solid and the AR is amazing!!! almost the impression there is no crystal at all! truely a nice quality watch! the chrono runs smooth and everything feels solid! the flaw that bug me a little is that the second hand aka chrono should be yellow as per gen and will require modding. the little B is there too and voila! hope you enjoyed! cheers! Higs 73 Posted August 21, 2013 As mentioned, there are gens with just the tip yellow, Japan and some from a launch event at a jewelers in Amsterdam. Having said that, as/when I get round to it, I will get mine modded to full yellow. Not because I think it's more gen but simply because I think it looks better. I prefer the fully painted yellow chrono hand because it stands out more, and the caseback needs to be "limited edition" marked like the gen. Otherwise, it's a pretty awesome rep. Turns like a cheap 10$ watch very freely and it make a horrible clanking sound when you tap on it. I will try the floss method tonight but it kinda turn me off a little :( Might hit m2m, we'll see The rest is fine with it! Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted August 23, 2013 On mine i just pull a little on it and it comes off LUCKY! my Super Avenger is like that but skyland there is no chance. if it comes off easy you can bend the click tabs on the click spring so they are standing up more straight and that will give you a better feeling bezel with nicer clicks and harder to move.
